David Davies

Larry "Laro" Morinia Jr. is a basketball prodigy straight outta Albuquerque, New Mexico, carving his path to greatness straight from the jump. Graduating from Eldorado High School and receiving a McDonald's High School All American Honorable Mention, Larry's talent was undeniable. His collegiate journey kicked off at Mesa Community College in Colorado in 2000, where he quickly became team captain and showcased his skills.

Never one to settle, Larry leveled up at Lamar Community College for his sophomore year, once again leading the team as captain and upping his game. But he was just getting started. Montana State University-Northern became his next playground, where he dominated the court from 2002 to 2004, averaging a staggering 20.5 points, 2.8 assists, 3.1 rebounds, and 1.4 steals per game. His accolades piled up, with five Conference Player of the Week titles and a record-breaking performance of 25.6 points per game during conference play, earning him the Conference MVP title in 2004.

Larry's professional career soared to new heights in 2004, with over 300 games under his belt for 17 different clubs across Europe, Mexico, South America, and leagues like the ABA and NBDL. A true all-star, Larry boasts career averages of 20.3 points, 5 assists, 3.8 rebounds, and 2.1 steals per game. With eight All-Star appearances, over 20 individual awards, and a league championship in Germany's North Regionalliga in 2008, Larry has left his mark on the global basketball scene.

During his professional journey, Larry has been mentored by former NBA point guards and faced off against household names in the NBA. In the summer of 2006, he worked out with the Phoenix Suns. He has defended the likes of Steve Nash and dished out lobs to Amar'e Stoudemire. Larry has faced some of the biggest names in basketball head-on, showcasing his tenacity, skill, and determination.

When he's not orchestrating on the court or leading the Crown the Kingz League, Larry takes charge as the general manager of two award-winning hotels, showcasing his versatility and leadership both on and off the hardwood.
